Any band suggestions?
I’ve been trying to take my time to answer this one, but honestly, no new music has been impressing me lately. I know the new Vampire Weekend album is out and everyone is all about it (their performance on Conan was just alright) but I was actually more stoked that it was Harry Potter Weekend on ABC Family. The Goblet of Fire movie is by far my favorite.
BUT if I had to suggest - I’m definitely excited to hear more from this band called Hockey who put out this cd called Mind Chaos last year. It reminds me of a bit of The Strokes, Talking Heads, The Cars and some LCD Soundsystem. Also, Passion Pit’s album Manners. If you don’t like any of their songs, you’ll at least like “The Reeling.” Seriously.
With that said… does anyone have suggestions for moi?
